With Stanzi out, Dace Richardson out (midseason 1st team all american guard) and down to our fourth running back, the oddsmakers now have tOSU as a 17 1/2 point favorite @ home. This isn't a great Hawkeye team, but we can play defense and we can make things happen with special teams. tOSU will get all they can handle. We lost one game this year... by 7 points... last year we lost four games by a grand total of 12 points... unless we just hand tOSU the ball, there's no way we get beat by 17. Hell, I'm thinking 17 should be the over/underopcorn:.
Stanzi may be back for the bowl game. Back ups are James Vandenberg (state of Iowa all time leading passer) and John Weinke, a former Elite Eleven qb, who decommitted from Michigan when RichRod came in... both redshirt freshmen.
