And at least Penn State fans don't move to tar and feather the coach after he doesnt deliver a national championship every year

And, God knows, lioness, you've had numerous opportunities to call for his head in regards to not delivering:grin:

    LOL, here's the deal, Lioness...
    1) I came to this forum just before the LSU CapOne game. I found the posters on here to be quite knowledgeable and the "monitors" to have a sense of control you don't see on other sites... so I stuck around to keep up with the SEC world.
    2) I lived in Atlanta and now Florida and had a son that went to Auburn and a daughter to Georgia. When you live in that part of the SEC, LSU is considered an outsider, whose only purpose in the conference is to mess the "real" conference powers (at least in the 80's and 90's)... so I have always liked LSU (or perhaps they won by default based on my dislike for Florida and Bama, not sure!) To PSU, Ohio State and Michigan, Iowa is always that nuisance team "out west" that screws with their "rightful place". There's a linkage there for me somewhere....

Every poster on here knows I'm a Big Ten fan, most engage me, some tolerate me... and the third group is Sabanfan.

I have been to PSU many times and have always been treated kindly... I was there in the rain this year. So, have some fun here... and, yes, you may catch a jab now and then.... but my guess is there's a lot of respect for the PSU traditions on here.

    Enjoy the show:popcorn:

    Hawker,

I appreciate your responding so kindly, but your wrong about PSU being in an alliance with Michigan and tOSU regarding Hawkeye Nation. I personally can't stand either one and most PSU fans and alumni would agree. Even though you beat us dashing our hopes of playing in the championship game last year( which probably was a good thing) and taking us down in our house this year I have a deep respect for your coach, team and fanbase. I think we are more alike than Mchickens and suckeyes!!
