Welp, Iowa kept it close for a while. Looks like that INT with 4:00 and change left will ice it for OSU.
In Ferentz's defense (and gosh knows I'm not a Hawkeye fan even though I live in Iowa) he did have a few very quality years where Iowa was a top 10-15 team, playing in BCS and/or Cap One type bowls, etc... but Iowa did the kneejerk reaction of offering him a very long-term contract at a high salary when he was rumored to be a top choice of some pro teams. Iowa fans will tell you they aren't getting their money's worth these days - breaking down per win, he is averaging probably a 500k+ per win - not a bad gig for him! His contract is too long and for too much money to get rid of him but I do think his days are numbered... The pink locker room is a holdover from the Hayden Fry days - he thought it would make the opponent less hyped to be around that color.
Way too much credit and let me tell you, that is a moment they still hang their hats on - shows what the last number of years have been like for their fans!!
But for a hail mary pass on the last play. As I recall, offensive PI should have been called on two Iowa players.
I gave up trying to reason with their fans about that long ago; it's like trying to reason with a Bama fan about their favorable calls - it's exhausting and you get nowhere!!
