    For the last 3 seasons, the winner of this game has become the National Champion.

    I'm sure everyone knew that, but I just thought it was a neat fact.

    Not disagreeing cause that is true, however, it was actually winning the SECCG that vaulted each in. :thumb:

    Another interesting stat is that only one team has beaten Miles in back-to-back years at LSU.

    That was Arkansas (they beat us in triple OT and had a 4th down TD pass with less than 30 seconds left to play in the game last year).

    So he would say that no team has defeated him in back-to-back seasons in regulation.

    That's pretty impressive since he's in year #5 at LSU. It seems like that would change a little this year, but you never know I guess.

    Urban Meyer is similar in that he's only lost to Auburn back-to-back and he's in year #5 as well.

    Another one is that when we have played La Tech in this decade, we have won the NC. It has absolutely nothing to do with this game, but I love to point that out to my inlaws...:hihi:
