Interesting read about Tiger Stadium from UWV Network

I got to go on the field back in 05 for the Monday night Tennessee game. I was just down for the national anthem and the coin toss and good lord was it loud. Honestly my ears kinda hurt while I was there.

 

I didn't think last weeks crowd was loud. It got loud once, but the game was never in jeopardy. This week will be much louder because of a 2 hour later start, an opponent that we've never played before, a tougher opponent than last week, and all their talk about beating us and silencing the crowd.
I kind of hope it's humid to let them feel what we live in every day, but I could go for a cooler night than last week.

 

After Tavon or Devine take one to the house early the noise will calm down. If it doesnt calm down after the first TD it will after the 2nd and 3rd.



Why shouldnt we feel confident? Patrick Patterson cant cover everyone and Jefferson isnt going to win this one for ya.


One other thing... I find this very hard to believe.. but some announcer from LA said this morning that 30,000 Mountaineer fans will be at the game. That kind of takes away from your 90,000+ you think you will have on hand.

I cant wait to hear those 30k drowning out the Tiger faithful singing Country Roads as we send that Tiger back to the locker room with his tail between his legs.

Interesting...since there are still tickets available as of this afternoon...since WVU gave some of their allotment back. Seriously, you guys won't have nearly 30,000 there.

 

I dont think so either. This was posted on BGN. Some radio host or tv host said it this morning down in your area. Everyone on BGN said it was BS, but more than one person heard it on the radio.

I'll be shocked if there are more than 5,000 wvu fans there. Out of the 5,000 they will be split between the lower and upper section in the endzone and their noise factor will be minimal.
Hell, Alabama won't have 30,000 fans in tiger stadium.
