44 - Starts that LSU seniors Jarrett Lee and Jordan Jefferson, combined, have made at quarterback in their college careers. 8 - Starts Alabama sophomore A.J. McCarron has made.
I've got a hunch this could be the national "coming out" game for Lee and that we might see a clinic from him today. Everyone is expecting Ware/Ford, but LSU may end up passing a lot more than people expect. Hard to see the Bama sophomore not being rattled under this big game pressure. Probably not 1 sophomore in 10 could handle this. He's been protected from mental pressure because Bama hasn't been in close games and has been playing overmatched competition. That changes today. I just wish the fricking game would get here. I cant take it anyore. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
I wouldn't be suprised. Lee has a score to settle with Bama in Bama for the 2008 year. He said that of all the interceptions he made in 2008, only the Bama game haunts his nightmares. I hope he racks up the yards and scores on these guys. The Media has already conceded ... Bama doesn't have a CB that can cover RR. I don't think they have one who can keep up with Shep either. And .. then of course .. you have ODB ... and as I hear it, don't be suprised to see Perterson come back to life this game ... something about a hurt hand for the first part of the season.
McCarron will need a quart of vagisil to rub all over his body after the tigers bust his puddy arse tonight!
