so that is the argument? democrats are better? what do they do that isnt terrible? i agree that republicans are a miserable lot, although not for the reasons posted. for example, perhaps sulfur cap and trade works but oil cap and trade doesnt, and the other reasons, i dont buy that they made sense either. but there are plenty of reasons why republicans are terrible. but the idea that they are worse than democrats? wrong.
I would argue that they are so similar differences are not discernable. Both are going to grow government and spending. The only thing that makes the Ds worse is that they are in power right now. I would have said the Rs were worse 4 years ago.
it seems to me like republicans are slightly less likely to grow the government, like for instance they are less likely to pass health care crap or environmental nonsense. but they sure are not opposed to finding some other miserable laws to pass. but all things considered i think republicans are better.
never said that, i think they are both terrible. but i also don't think one can say republicans are better. they both suck equally.

You say that but Medicare Part D exists. The Clusterf#$% of Homeland Security exists. No child left behind came under the Republican watch. All massive government expansions.

i never felt bad. i was only pointing out that we should shift out thinking away from playing one party vs the other, when should be opposing both. if you agree great. although to be fair i do really approve of obama's policy so far with pakistan, which i think is really important. so democrats are not all bad.
