At the bottom, click on a position and they have the projected #1 players, by position. http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/players.php?genpos=WR&draftyear=2009&sortorder=tsxpos&order=ASC According to that list LSU have 4 potential senior 1st rounders- so much for the "Saban's recruits" argument.
Anybody wondering, the 4 guys are Byrd, Herman House Johnson, Tyson Jackson, Darry Beckwith. And who knows who else might have a big year, maybe Scott or Williams. Guys like Chad Jones, Terrance Tolliver, Barksdale, Nevis, Jean Francois should be first rounders too. I give credit to Saban for jump-starting our program, but Miles has certainly done extremely well with possibly one of the greatest recruiting classes ever last year, a solid one this year, and potentially the best ever next year.
Don't forget Ciron Black, who has a chance at leaving early if he continues to improve that much more at the all important LT position.
Curtis Taylor is listed there as the 5th best free safety. His stock is likely to improve now that he has a full year under his belt as a starter.
