Fenway is number 1 on my list as well.

ld Yankee Stadium would have been #2.

I hate the Yanks, but can appreciate the history that happened in that building.
Would love to have seen a game played on the field that guys like Ruth, Gehrig, Dimaggio, Yogi and Mantle called home.

Watched a few games in Old Yankee Stadium from the press box. Had a girlfriend who was a sportswriter. She typed away and I watched the game. I'd like to see a game from Fenway, too.

No no, they did. They were the only friggin Cubs that could successfully lay down a damn bunt...and when they had the opportunity to do so, all they could do is move the runner to second. MULTIPLE attempts were made by others to move the guys to third, as well as MULTIPLE attempts to score the run from third with less than 2 outs. At one point, they had the friggin' bases loaded and a 3-1 count, and STILL couldn't manage to get the guy from third. Fukodome wound up striking out with the next two pitches. :dis:

These MULTIPLE attempts were over a couple of innings where, if they score, they win. They didn't...do either.

I've only been to MLB games at the Astrodome and Enro . . . I mean Minute Maid Field.

I do have a plan, however, to take the little guy on the left to at least one game in every MLB ballpark. If it all works according to plan, we'll start in the summer of 2012 and try to take the games in logical bunches (Astros and Rangers one year; Braves, Marlins and Rays another; Rockies, D'backs, Royals and Cardinals another; etc. etc.).

The way I figure it, it'll take us about 15 years to finish and, except for the last year (Giants, As and Mariners), I'm planning on driving because the point of the trips will be to spend time together and see the country, not rack up frequent flier miles.

I'd have to say the parks I'm most looking forward to seeing are Wrigley, Fenway, Dodger Stadium and Camden Yards (driven past it, but never been in it).

I've only been to whatever the hell their calling the Ballpark in Arlington these days.

    nice ballpark.

and as a side note, in the same game, i got to see 3 members of the 500 hr club.
    Palerio, A-Rod, and Junior
    Inter-league game Rangers vs. Reds.

dude, that would be a dream scenario.
i truly hope it works out and you can pull it off.
