I saw this earlier today. Written by a non-LSU fan; not as biased or as emotionally charged. Thought he made some good points.

See his choice of words? Even if one were to "agree" with the call, there is NO WAY we can know if it would have worked. In fact, I'm just the opposite and think Bama was in postion to cover it and may have been why #30 batted it so it wouldn't make it to the up-guy. He saw him getting closer and it was a reaction.

On the 4th down, I DO agree with going for it, JUST NOT trying to get cute. Our passing game was on fire. I may have even taken a shot down the field like the 07 Auburn game. Course, if that would have happened and the pass fell incomplete I'd be lit up for clock management.

I agree with a lot of it, and we overcame those mental mistakes, the thing that I just can't understand is not trying to end the game with a pass on 3rd down, instead we just run a dive play and set up Alleman who just flat out sucks this year. 1 more 1st down, ball game is over. Play to win, not to not lose.

I hat agree. The main point was that he has a valid defense of his calls and more importantly understands that there is more than to being a good coach than calling plays.

I disagree. The ball took a weird bounce and went backwards to hit him. I didn't mind the call. It just sucked that it didn't work.

You could be right. The announcer did say it took a bad bounce. Course, he also said we got the ball first to start the 3rd. Also said the offensive interferrence wasn't enough of a jersey pull to be flagged when the ARM lock was on and no jersey pull at all. Seriously though, you may be correct. I didn't watch it THAT closely.

Seriously, Tiga, wth were you doing, then? Picking your ear more than Les Miles? They replayed it a dozen times.

I had 30 people running around my house, but I saw it.

    It was sabans fault.

But really the onside kick was terrible whether it succeeds or not. You have momentum, are dominating the line of scrimmage and have a lead in ts. You don't risk taking yourself out of that position.

The fake fg was horrendous. It had no chance from the getgo.

I liked the 4th down attempt. Except the formation. They were lined up tighter than mccarrons ass before he came out the closet. Bodies were so close together you couldn't fit a playing card in between. No chance ware moves that mass of bodies.

All in all, we were better prepared, outplayed their asses yet couldn't overcome these mistakes. Along with others all cost us in the end.

I actually thought he was going to move forward and pitch it to Ford around the end. Guess not...
