Lache is far from inexperienced when it comes to saying things on camera he shouldn't have. Or, things "better left unsaid" if that sits better. He was making remarks back when he was being recruited that were better left unsaid.

He did talk about LSU. The difference he pointed out was LSU demanded records and specific information on the recruits as well as follow up data. The also only paid $6k for specific requests. Below from the article taken fro the trouble in the Northwest thread He said Oregon specifically told him he need not provide written materials until the 2011-12 year. That is a stark contrast from LSU, which Lyles said sent him a checklist to follow when submitting reports for the junior college package purchased by the Tigers. Their standards required written reports on two different dates and film on a continual basis over the length of the deal. Lyles said Cal requested nothing specific, so he sent the same spreadsheet databases to the Bears that he eventually provided to the Ducks." Please don't quote Clownzano. He's a hack reporter who's had a hard on for Ducks athletics for years. He spins everything, and asks every question to make it look like the Ducks are guilty...even during our undefeated run last year. The guy would find BS to talk about, or would just be quiet. The guy's a grade A jerk.
I second that. Clearly all he cares about is his career, doesn't care about the local teams, doesn't care about the fans. All he wants is national attention. He dumps on Oregon State, pisses on the Trailblazers, basically slanders everyone, but the Ducks most of all. For example: The day after Chip Kelly signed a 5 year extension, Clownzano wrote a column saying that he expected Kelly to leave Oregon after one more year. He tries very hard to rile up the fans. I hate him! The worst of the worst!
