    Good article. I think he's alright. If you're to be the starting QB in an SEC program, you've got to be more than a little confident.

    He also did go on to say nothing was going to be handed to him.

    F**kin-A. I love it.

    Mett took complete control of the offense in the limited time he was given. Just the way he handled the huddle and pre-snap. You could tell he was in charge and a leader.

    Sounds like what we've been needing for a long time. A leader who is confident in his abilities and that can actually make throws.

    I like the young mans attitude. Now let's hope the results on the field match the confidence.

    ETA: And 20 minutes after posting this, I read this. :huh:

    Mettenberger played in five games and completed eight of 11 passes for 92 yards and a touchdown. But he was described as "goofy" and "immature" by teammate Will Blackwell last month despite being in his third year out of high school.
