Great story! You know that it had to be hard to admit needing help and having to start at that level. Seems like a great kid and a good family behind him. I wish him the best and welcome to LSU Mr. Hilliard!!!:geauxtige
awesome awesome way to go Kenny! You are going to do great things in life and life is more than football!
what a great story. it is so refreshing to read about a kid humbling himself and admit he needs help instead of just give up and go down the wrong path. this is the kind of kid we want. one who will persevere both on and off the field.
Mature beyond his years to be able to sit in class with 3rd graders knowing this was the only way to make it college. And now he's able to graduate early and enroll in the spring. That's a story.
That's a great story. Too many times these kids get lost and very few teachers will take the time to try and get them the help needed. Something so simple as a few months of "retraining" and the guy is excited to make the grades he needs to move on.
Read the article yesterday. Couldnt be more proud of a young man and a family with those ideals to represent LSU on and off the field! :tigereye:
That's a tough pill to swallow at any age. Far too many fail to ever realize what it will take to make themselves live up to their true potential. Good for Kenny, happy he will be a Tiger that will make us all proud.
