I can only assume that you have been sleeping during the day then.

Could you deal with it better had we blitzed?

    I know I would.

Funny you should mention that because I saw my doctor about the sleep problem since the Arky game and he prescribed a safety blitz by Chad Jones.

I wake up at work in cold sweats screaming BLITZ! At night I just watch replay of Chad Jones sacking JPW over and over and I cry like my wife watching " The Notebook". It's quite embarrassing actually. :bncry:

That right there is a sign of a serious problem. How will you handle overdue bills, sick children and layoffs at work?

I think what this team under Les Miles has shown that we aren't heads and shoulders better than most SEC teams even though we all think we are and Les has been doing a good job getting us wins against almost even competition.

    OR

We do have better talent than many SEC teams and we haven't maximized our potential often (we've played many teams just better than even, though our talent would suggest we should have better results).

It's not fair for you to put all the offensive woes on Flynn. I think there is plenty of blame to go around.

    Flynn:
He's had some slow starts but always turns it around in the 2nd half. There have been some games he performed great in. He is an excellent scrambler and makes great decisions to scramble all the time and has saved us several times. Remember part of the year he had the ankle issues where he couldn't scramble and was forced to throw in the pocket or take a sack. Also do you remember how many passes have been dropped plus we didn't have Doucet most of the season.

The OC could've done more to help out on the slow starting Tiger offense at times. In other words, run first then throw. We have unbelievable RB's and they weren't utilized enough when the passing game was slow. Actually even when the passing game is good, I still say run more and where the opposing defenses down.

On top of the Defense hasn't helped at all. Yes injuries have been there but we are fairly deep. LSU used to win games with the defense, but not this year.

Bills= I plan on applying for the head coach job, pays well.
Kids= I will go with the Andy Reid parenting philosophy and not worry about em.
layoffs= I have a 1.25 million dollar buyout on my current gig.

Obviously I sleep, and had a great time at the game with all of my kids and wife, so no need to worry. I even went to the co-op the next day and bought all kinds of LSU stuff for the kids and myself. They are easy to pick out at school here in Tucson with nothing but LSU gear.

Flynn is not one to blame for the loss. He played to the best his abilities allow him. He played pretty good in the 2nd half and overtime.
The real blame is what the hell happenned to our freaking secondary. We got burned a hell lot of times this season. We couldnt stop 3rd and longs all season. Hell, I was more confident on 3rd and 1s than I was on 3rd and 10s, thats how bad we were defending the pass. And on top of all that, we didnt even blitz. Im sorry, did someone tell Pelini that we have the Indy Colts secondary playing for us back there? Here is a clue, you have a secondary that makes bum QBs like Brandon Cock and Casey Penis look like all pros, BLITZ!! Give him less time to pick the secondary apart!! And whatever happened to special teams adjustments we've been hearing all season? There is no excuse for a defense to give away 50 points. Im sorry, not even Brady, Moss and company can win with that!!
