Alabama is not worried about brain eating amoeba getting in their water system...there's not enough brain material there to cause an epidemic.
New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton calls Mark Ingram trade report 'completely false' http://www.nola.com/saints/index.ss...g_back_mark_ingra_2.html#incart_river_default
He's still under contract for the 2014 season. The option the Saints declined to exercise is a team option to sign him for a 5th year (2015) at a price of $5.2 million for the one season. At the end of the 2014 season he will become a free agent unless he signs an extension. The reason that they are declining the option isn't necessarily because he's going to be released. It's because running backs are not getting much money at all on the open market and there is no way any team will pay him that much in free agency. They could still offer him a multi year extension sometime before he become a free agent after the season but not for nearly that much money.
All of this is correct, but it is my opinion that he's a gone pecan after this season.....unless something crazy happens (i.e. he runs for 1,200 yards and 10 td's)
