At the drive-thru in The Woodlands, TX yesterday, the Wendy's worker noticed my LSU plates and made a comment that he expected both us and his team (Auburn) to be a little better this year. Then he said one of his good friends has a son (now 15 yrs old) that was just offered a scholly by LSU and has us as one of his leading choices. Apparently he's a QB/RB that is 6'4, 225 lbs. I started to ask what school he's from but there was a car behind me so didn't quite get to finish the conversation. Just wondering if he was giving me some good inside information or completely making it up. Anyone know? *If it was completely made up or if this type of unsubstantiated rumor is not encouraged on the recruiting board, feel free to delete.
I actually heard a day before NSD that Janzen Jackson is not coming to LSU and blowing smoke from a friend of his. He was working the drive-thru window at Burger King on Essen and heard me listening to LSU sports radio. haha
