Why aren't you equally upset at the San Diego Chargers for being caught putting stickum on the balls during a game in 2014??? Wasn't that cheating??? Don't you think Phillip Rivers knew and had a say? Shouldn't he have been suspended four games? BTW the Chargers were fined $20,000 per the league rules. If Goodell wasn't such a tool this would have been over and done 9 months ago.
The people who are against Tom Brady and the Patriots are against them because they don't like the Patriots and Tom Brady. It's got nothing to do with deflating balls. The NFL spent 13 million on this whole thing. All so Roger Goodell could flex his nuts. What needs to happen is there needs to be a rule book for code and conduct that details what offenses carry what punishments and the amount of the fines and the lengths of the suspensions. This can't be just a oh I'm Roger Goodell and I say you get 4 games because I say so thing. That's what the judge had a problem with, the lack of structure. There was no precedent and nothing that outlined this would be a 4 game suspension, not to mention the Pats lost millions and 2 draft picks. It's not about the integrity of the league it's about a power hungry commish.
And cold weather can reduce the PSI by as much as 3 PSI when the balls are inflated indoors, the whole air expands when its warmer thing. But hey, this made such a big difference and for sure they wouldn't have 4 Super Bowls, 3 Super Bowl MVP's, 10 pro bowls and 12 division titles without it......no way.
The only way it affects them is if the NFL wins an appeal and Brady has to sit out the last 4 games instead of the first 4
