    There were many at the game saying that she should attempt a comeback when CU's kicker shanked his first FG try.

    From my perspective, Britt going out with over 2 minutes left in the 1st quarter which moved Caldwell to LG and brought Cardwell in as C is where the offense started to sputter. 75% of the games this year had a different group playing the OL. It's hard for any team to get any consistency when that much shuffling.

    Even with that, some of the mental breakdowns were inexcusable. A few horrible passes by the QB, lack of fundamental play (Caddell's fumble) and Colorado taking advantage of the secondary were par for the course this year.

    There's playing time available for some of the recruits coming in next season. No doubt. Specifically, a safety who can play in pass coverage, a couple of defensive backs to name a couple.

    The Big12 North is going to be interesting to watch in a couple of years. Given the right playmakers on offense, Hawkins and his crew will have some success.
