I think it is a very positive note that this years LSU team ( who most thought was 3rd in the SEC West) was in the NC hunt up until its 9th game......... When in both games lost, we saw that we had chances to win. I think it came down to youth and key players hurt in the Bama and UF game. Still if all plans out like I think it will, this LSU team will: A: be in the top 10 after UNRANKED LAST YEAR! ( hell, we moved up after losing a game!) B: would have only lost to the #1 and #3 teams! C: have most key players RETURN! and finally......ANOTHER TOP 5 RECRUITING CLASS. :helmet: Yea, some say we could lose some more games, I just don't think its in this years LSU team to lose again. The two things they don't lack is heart and pride and they have to much of both to throw the season away like some fans have. LSU BABY!
To win a championship, a team must be lucky AND good. In their biggest two games, a few calls went towards LSU's opponents (Coopers push off for a TD, and of course the INT). A team that is lucky certainly doesn't lose a starting TE, QB, RB, and CB all in the same game, especially a game in the #3 team's stadium.
:cuss:Could we not count our chickens before they hatch. We still have two SEC games left. We lost to both of these teams last year. We actually have a losing streak to Arkansas.
If the SEC can predetermine who will play in the SECCG then we can "count our chickens before they hatch".
