Actually, I am kind of a smart-ass. :hihi:

And just for the record, I wasn't wishing him a short life. It was just a play on his remark about how our coaches have shortened his life by 5 years. I'm sick of the negativity of some of these guys (not just new guys) ranting how they are confirmed Crowton haters and exaggerating about how bad he is. He is free to make his remarks but I am free to make fun of them in return.

The chronic anti-LSU coaching attitude is what is wrong with the forum right now, IMO, not the banter among us. Recruits read these forums. Surely we can discuss football without "hating" and personally berating coaches who have done pretty well overall, even if we'd all like to see improvements.

It was just another smart-ass remark, amigo. I'm sure your life is a full one. I lost my mom after a lengthy illness last year and I quite understand being overwhelmed by circumstance.

    And also to you.

I certainly dont hate our OC but I do believe Crowton should be fired. Nothing personal, but if you're the OC of the 108th ranked scoring offense at a major SEC school, with this much talent, you should lose your paycheck.

i am going to try to be as diplomatic as possible about this....

but jsr, seems like half of your posts any more are bitching about the board? if anyone makes a sarcastic or tongue-in-cheek remark, you get all huffy and puffy and complain.

the rant forum (aka sidelines) was made to try to give leeway to those who just wanted to rant, without taking up the den. free speech and all. but just because people use sarcasm, or get snarky, does not make the thread instantly headed for the sidelines. one needs to have a sense of humor and a thick skin, no matter what forum they are reading/posting.

hell, in another thread, a noob mentions how "tame" tf is.

have a drink and chill. there are more important things in life to get worked up about. (and judging by your post, you have understand that all too well.) this is not one of them.

    cheers!

first of all I never got "worked up"

Id also like to see you produce "half my posts" post count non withstanding I dont post much at all but I may have been around a while....so. yeah thats gonna be easy to do...

    broad sweeping statements like:

cant be proven. and is a gross exageration.

A more truthful statement might be I called "BS" to something that I felt was wrong.... its an opinion.
I think Ive done it twice since the ( football ) season began. One guy ( no names given ) even PM'ed me and said I was right he shouldnt have done it. It was basically some name calling.

Am I sensitive? not really, I just know that half of the crap said would go down totally different if said person was 4 feet in front of you. WHY? why not be as Nice on line as off?

and if not then be the same ass in person that you ( whoever ) are on the net.

and no I am not the "internet" police. I just like people to be real.

I just call it like I see it, sorry I didnt get the humor in it. I'll work on my humor..... as soon as you work on producing half my posts... good luck with that one.

If you read further down you'd see that I regretted not seeing the humor in the statement. It's not always easy for people to recognize humor on the net without tone, and I always tend to stick up for the underdog, so there you have the best excuse I can come up with.

<< not likely to change however, so have that drink you wanted me to have..... Ill pass, time and place for drinking, I seldom do and right now isnt a good time. Maybe Christmas Eve I may have a Crown and nog.

    take care.
