For me, idleness and pride explain everything that went wrong with last night's debacle. And its the idleness that irritates me to no end. To simply stand by and watch as your team sinks to the ocean floor is indefensible to me. Miles went down with the 'ship and never gave his team a fighting chance. LSU will likely never get a shot like this again regardless the team; its simply too difficult. And for the players who deserved better, I am truly disappointed. They never had a chance. They were ill-prepared going into battle. But at least Jordan Jefferson saw things differently. When asked to assess his performance, he said despite everything, he thinks he played pretty well. And with that, we conclude the 2011-12 football season. This one is gonna leave a mark.
Not only do I believe we'll get there again, I believe we'll be back in the same game next year or the year after and maybe even the following year as well.
JJ's response explains greatly why a sophomore qb had greater pocket composure than a multi year starting senior and why JJ was always inconsistent. He never thinks he had a bad game.
