The only player on his list that I think has a legit shot is Tebow because he is the most media friendly. Dorsey is a defensive player and D Mac is on a so-so team. Tebow is throwing up crazy numbers and that should be enough get the flavor of the month vote. http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/story/7449908 :geauxtige
I don't exactly disagree with you...but I offer this. McFadden is absolutely the best player, and he was hosed last year...because he was a sophomore, basically. This year, he's having a better year, although his team isn't...and he's a junior. I think the Heisman voters give him the vote he deserved LAST year, and Tebow enters '08 as the favorite...because he's a sophomore. Besides, it's not like McFadden plays for Tulane...he still gets a lot of press, albeit because he's playing against good teams...therefore playing on TV a lot. There's still time for things to change, anyway. Would be nice to see Glenn in NYC.
Curious cause I'm too lazy to go look it up. When was the last time a player won the heisman from a team with 4 losses??? 3 losses??? My vote would go to Dixon or Hart over either of those two. But apparently I don't have a vote
I would love for an SEC player to win the Heisman especially D Mac, the dude is amazing, and I think he has a huge chance. But the way the media jumps on the flavor of the month bandwagon who knows who will win. I'm sure if Oregon makes it to the NC then Dixon is a lock, regardless if he is deserving of the award. :geauxtige
UM has 3 losses and one not so pretty. And Hart's been hurt a lot of the season. I think if you look at who the absolute best player in college football is, you have to go with McFadden, but that's probably not the way it plays out, because of their record, unless UO loses tonight. It's Thursday, so everyone will be watching. My vote would be for McFadden or Tebow. I'd at least like to keep it in the family.
that's the key....if Ar-kansas had made it to the national championship game last year, the more deserving D-Mac would've been a lock.
Michigan has 3 losses, and headed for 4. Hart has missed valuable playing time to boot. Not sure why anyone would be putting his name in the mix anymore.
True...all I think about when talking about Hart is his heart and totin the rock 25-40 times a game when healthy. Forgot about the 3rd L. Alright, guess its Dixon or Dorsey. Can we get Hester to NY?!?! We can all pitch in for a billboard to erect in Times Square :insane:
