Good Defense. Good Special Teams. Eliminate turnovers and run the football and keep opposing teams offense off the field. Play the field position battle kind of like a game of tug of war where it eases its way toward one side gradually. Les Miles likes to win football games in the trenches. He likes to win football games in the fourth quarter when teams are too tired to stand. Perfect example was the Ole Miss game last year. Only bad thing this year is we do not have John Chavis.
It's very simple. He has QBs who have yet to prove that they can be trusted with the ball in a passing focused offense. He has a stable of stud runningbacks and a team of mauling animals on the offensive line. Only a complete idiot would try to win with a spread offense with that distribution of talent. Miles is no idiot. He just wants you to think he's one.
Hehehe, what's the joke? Non Athletic Sport Centered Around Rednecks? FWIW, never been; never going to go. Hell, never watched a race other than a momentary pause while channel surfing. That said, I normally throw a few bucks on races in our pool...won first out three or four times last year but never won the pool.
