LOL! A comparison could definitely be made. Mack Brown won '05 BCSNCG by beating USC in their own back yard. The next year he lost his DC (Gene Chizik),had a RS freshman QB (Colt McCoy), and had a couple of not so good years. Fans were grumbling. The media was taking shots saying it was all Vince Young . I'll have to say though that he wasn't attacked by the fans and media anywhere close to the way Les Miles has been attacked by the LSU fans and the national media. Well, Mack Brown will probably be back in Pasadena again this year with his Senior QB.
