Exactly. Even at halftime, he said he'd never been stopped short on a play like that, so you're right. He didn't plan for the contingent of 'not' getting it and didn't know what to do next. I tend to be more positive than negative after a win, but that was bad.
EA is ESPN, right? The game was on CBS, so it was their sideline chick that asked. Do you really have a guide that you've documented over the years on clock management? And you send it out on request or when the sitchiation call for? :hihi:
Tracy Wolfson. Yes I have a guide for clock management embedded in my head. 90 percent of head coaches do not know how to manage the clock.
Seriously? You have that much confidence in our first year kicker to roll over at the 35 for a 52 yarder? Not me. you can run a safe play and get a few more. I don't get comfortable until I'm at the 40 or closer. From 52, I'm not taking big risks, but I want some more yards.
He's already hit from 52 and he hit every kick that the holder didn't muff. If you haven't heard, Jasper is a damn fine kicker.
He's done a great job no doubt. I would have been more afraid of a bad snap or it getting blocked than him missing it left or right.
