actually the worst loss for me was the 52-50 a few years ago vs tenn. b/c of that loss i was a little more guarded about this one. actually i was ready to lose this game in some kind of soul crushing fashion. it made it a little easier but not much. the way i felt after that 52-50 loss in N.O. was right up there with ark in 2002 and 2007 (football) and uk 2007.
I hate Pat Summitt & Tenn.... but a little of that bleeds over to LSU for letting it happen twice... I was sooooo mad at LSU for playing so bad, but also so sad it happened to them again... Thanks Girls for a great ride... Sorry it could not have been a little better... About 5 points better!!!! Think about it, 5 points kept them from being in the championship game twice. So Close...
Hold your heads high, Tiger Fans. LSU women's basketball team made it to the Final Four. Look at it like this: it'd be great if you (or one of your children) were valedictorian of the graduating class, but finishing with a GPA in the top 4 of a class of over 100, representing each and every one of the best in the United States, is something to be very proud of.
If it wasn't for the GREAT company and food I had for the game I would have been really pissed! 327 said it the best I was prepared for this loss! Not that I liked it any better but I am starting to feel like that red sox fan that is so close but just can't get there! I use them because I really believe in my heart that we will get there, but boy doesn it hurt to not when you can reach it!
