I can't wait til thanksgiving day, I'm driving down from Oklahoma (ugh) where my wife and I live (her whole family are wretched ou fans, so naturally they all hated me back in 03'). This will be my first time in Baton Rouge, I havn't lived in LA since I was 14 and I can't wait. We live right on the Arkansas/Oklahoma border and all I see is red everywhere! I will be taking pride in watching the loserbacks get beat. We need a hotel, can anyone offer any advice? Oh, and what time should we get to the stadium Friday and where's all the parties at?

been there, done that. last time was for tech game, next for arky game. ugh, is right. both about being in oklahoma, and for that drive! i feel for you being married into a family of ou fans. luckily, i am from a family of osu fans. however, with some of them still "resenting" miles from leaving their beloved cowboys for the tigers, it can still get a bit tense during holiday get togethers. luckily, i have one less of those this year! :grin:
