I'd like to think we are gonna smack Bama right in the chops but I swear our offense just worries me to death. 15 for 28 between both QB's for like 89 yards against AU was simply paultry. I don't know the answer, but I know those kind of numbers are not very encouraging!

5 drops for what could have been a big chunk of yards hurt bad, real bad.

Yep, when you look at the game the fact that our receivers couldn't hold onto the ball even when hit right in the hands caused multiple problems. It not only cost us from maintaining some drives, and prevented a possible TD, it also affected the rest of our offensive game plan.

Yep, and would have kept our O on the field and our D on the sidelines and might could have kept us fresher for late in the game.

I'm not blaming it all on the WR.

We got whipped up front on both sides, and played very vanilla, safe defense. Auburn's linemen played like they were on a mission.

But all those drops hurt us.

Personally, it's great that Bama is at "their" bye. I'm sure the rest of the SEC have already enjoyed theirs. Bama looked better offensively, partically, the passing game looked as good as they have, at any point this year. This team is more explosive, even with the youth. Playing well rested and getting the nixes and bruises healed and then saturday "afternoon" in BR, should be a lot of fun.

Correct. I was telling my nephew that the way we got owned by Auburn has nothing to do with how our defense will play going forward. We will play Bama really tough defensively.
