He had lined up in the middle of the field, protecting against the end or back coming on a delay. He responded to the quarterback's throw to Green, but was late coming over, because of the delay receiver.

"Poorly coached our team is...for most of the game?" ???? Get your head out of your a$$ first.

We dominated UGA all game except the 3rd quarter when we ran a total of 6 plays.

It's NOT "poor coaching" that didn't get us greater than a 6-point half-time lead or cost us the lead: It's piss-poor execution by the offense.

Jefferson did a J.Lee impression by starring down his target and got picked in the endzone.

Jefferson then missed Toliver on a slant pattern on 3rd down the second time we were in the redzone; throwing the ball WAY too high on a route when the pass should be thrown low.

I actually agreed with going for it on 4th and inches because we had dominated UGA and only had 6 points. I figured going up 13-0 would have killed UGA (especially with us getting the 2nd half kickoff). Who would have thought that after finally seeing our power running game be effective, we couldn't get 1 foot when we needed it most??? We convert that 4th down and everyone here is talking about what HUGE STONES Miles had and how great a call it was....

Poor coaching doesn't force Jefferson to hold on to the ball for an eternity and getting sacked in the process. I don't care what anyone says, when you're a QB on a bootleg, you CAN'T stand their like a statue holding on to the ball!!! Make your read(s) and if it's NOT there, tuck it and run or throw it away! Jefferson did none of those.

Miles should be very pleased with his team. We won on the road against a ranked opponent. Miles showed enthusiasm and a bit of fire that we haven't seen from him all year.. and the team in the first half definitely played better because of it IMO.

Now it's time to get back to work. This type of game won't cut it against the Gators. We've improved but we're still sloppy.

Last time we won at UGA was 87.

stop being a hater and enjoy the fact that most LSU fans thought we'd lose this game....

there were a few play calls i disagreed with but if they had been executed properly they would have worked, i agree with Atlanta. I thought the coaching was for the most part spot on, especially on the defensive side of the ball. This defense gets better weekly.

JayB, JayB. Conservative in the 2nd half????? We attempted 3 STRAIGHT PASSES in our 1st possession of the 2nd half!!!

If I'm Miles, and I watch JJ hold on to the ball to damn long and get sacked 3-straight times, you damn right I'm not letting him drop back and throw for awhile!

We ran 6 plays in the 3rd quarter. 6!!!!! UGA had an 18-play drive for crying out loud! How can you get conservative if you don't even have the ball???? Sorry JayB, but you're acting like a tunnel-visioned whinner...

We had a little over 230 yards of offense at halftime and finished with 365. That means 135 yards came in the 4th quarter alone.

JJ had 132 yards passing at half and finished with 212. That means 80 yards were in the 4th quarter.

Conservative in the 2nd half??? Hardly. Can't any of you just ever enjoy a "W"???

This type of game won't cut it against Missippi State.....er....

This type of game won't cut it against UGA.....er....

This type of game won't cut it against Florida....

Sooner or later, I guess if you or anyone else keeps using the same line, it'll turn out to be true. So far, all of you that have said such things following the Washington game are 0-for-4.

I'm ecstatic, sure we had several opportunities to put UGA away early, but this team finds a way to close out games victorious. I'd rather have that consistency, than blow out teams one week and get blowed out the next week.
