Also the quarterback should have never snapped the ball until he saw his team was in proper position. This is one of three penalties that happened when the offense tried a hurry-up play to catch the defense napping but were not ready themselves. If this team is not ready for a fast pace, then don't force it, coach. And if the coach calls a hurry-up play, then hurry the fuck up boys and get ready for it and be where you belong. So the blame here starts with Cameron and is shared by Harris and the receivers. Fournette should kick all their asses.
Good point about the QB, he is the leader of this team and needs to be able to point out when he sees something amiss. But at this point I guess Harris is focusing on just handing the ball off to #7 and not fucking up that rather simple task. Dural is almost a 1 1/2 yard back of the line, so it should be readily apparent to the QB. That's a coaching issue. If you push the art of playing close attention to detail, those kinds of things NEVER happen.
There's a petition to stop Ritter from officiating LSU game. I know it won't happen and am only posting this for entertainment value. The comments on the link could get interesting. http://www.petition2congress.com/18646/keep-tom-ritter-from-officiating-lsu-football-games/
Ha. I did see there was someone from Plano who'd signed. I was actually thinking of lil Miss StaceyO when I posted this. She gets firey when the name Ritter pops up.
our most experienced receiver didn't look at his positioning nor check with the ref, it was his fault and not anyone else's.
