You're the drunk one. The game is over and LSU scored more points, and are now 5-0. That is the definition of a win. We also now know we have a capable quarterback going into Florida. It wasn't pretty, but at least Lee can complete passes. In less than one game, he threw for more yards than JJ has all season and looked to really be building confidence before getting yanked at the end.
I've tried to drink the cool aid but there is nothing positive about what happened today. JL made a couple of nice throws but I don't see the leadership. You DO NOT throw a fade route short and inside, he threw that ball the only place his receiver DIDN't have a chance to catch it. JJ was typical JJ. We do not have a QB and I don't care what anyone says, UT is not a good team and we once again made them look like contenders. The pregame talk form Miles that we have a tendency to play down to the level of our competition is bs....UT, UNC, WV is our level.
I guess I need at least 8 Jack Daniels and Coke to catch up to you... at least when the BCS computers kick in, they'll rank this "win" as it should be looked upon...a loss sure, Les Fudd will say "character...toughness...yak yak yak yak puke" still, this is sort of a mute point after Auburn, Alabamer, Florida and maybe even Ole Miss rips us a new one with Coach Fudd, I'm sorta worried about LA-Lafayette or UL Monroe High School
Really, scoring touchdowns on ONLY the first play and last play of the game is far from a rhythm....and neither are 3 interceptions (it was 3 wasn't it)?
and yet we won and at the end Lee was looking pretty good. Next week is a guaranteed loss. But that will give Lee some more playing time and experience. then we have Mcneese, who we will kill, and then auburn whose defense is not that good. Lee, and the offense will be playing pretty well by the time Alabama rolls into town.
