I thought he played his finest game as a Tiger this Saturday. Not because he was throwing it all that well, but he picked up a few key first downs running. I'd really like to see more of this* - especially while he's struggling to read defenses. When the defense does everything it's supposed to, and our guy still moves the chains with his feet, it can really take the air out of the opponent. *JUST NOT THE OPTION (I also heard the interview with him where he acknowledged that he should have run for a first down instead of trying to throw a TD to a guy who was not open. Hopefully he learns from that).
Jennings had offers from Arkansas State, Boston College, Clemson, Cincinnati, Colorado, Illinois, East Carolina, Iowa, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, SMU, South Carolina, South Florida, Syracuse, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, and Virginia. Make a wild-ass guess if you really care.
That's nice. He had several teams fooled. I wonder if they're upset that they missed out on him. I doubt it.

AJ did have his best game as a Tiger saturday, but unfortunately for him and us it simply was not enough. The key is if he can build on those runs he had and start to use them consistently(See Russ Wilson) and if he can develop some momentum in the passing game so that he has something to build on going into bowl season and this off-season.
I thought the pass to Melvin Jones was nice and might have been enough, but other players didn't make plays either.
I'm making up for lost time. I'm grateful to be able to voice my opinions on here. He did show some improvement but not enough. I'm not going to blow smoke about him and try to stay positive. He had 9 weeks to impress me and he didn't.
