I understand your thinking I simple dont agree that if we are winning big against La Tech we need to show everything. Besides that strategy seemed to work fine tonight. What we better NOT do is take Tech lightly.
Oh, I'm not saying we have to win by 50. We should go out and run the offense we will need to run when we are in the meat grinder, put them away and give Brennan and the younger guys some quality reps. And you're right about Tech; they are as capable as Troy if our guys don't have their heads on straight.
Agreed. As far as Brennan I would not use him till Jeaux is firmly and fully developed as our QB. Brennan I believe knows our offense and will perform when needed. Also we may be able to redshirt him and if Jeaux leaves we have an established QB for next year.
Well, don't forget, Brennan can play in as many as 4 games and still redshirt. And while Burrow is proving serviceable, that's a long way from being NFL-calibre. I don't see him getting there this season.
You do realize Brennan is 6'5" 185? Maybe play him next week if we are comfortably ahead. That boy needs to go spend 3 months in Lafayette and eat at T Coons every day. As I said I do believe he will deliver whwn we need him. Also don't under estimate Andre Sale I like what I see in him.
Looks like he has been eating salads at Brennans. At T Coons it would be rice and gravy, potato salad, gumbo and bread pudding. A couple of months there and he would be 6' 5" 265. Maybe the next Battleship Lorenzen. Redshirt the lad move him to Cajun country.
