1st game back from Ike and they get no-hit. I am not an Astros fan . . . AT ALL. But it's kind of a shame. I would have liked to see how they could have done had the storm not ruined it. I have to think they may be done now, though.
I bet the fans in Milwaukee were all cheering for Chicago, given the fact that the Astros posed more of a problem than the Brewers trying to win the division. Sad that they picked Milwaukee for the game to be played. Only 2 games out. I'll take my chances. Milwaukee is folding as I called it back 2 months ago. Delayed reaction.
From a no hitter to a one hitter.:dis: They're still in it, but I would have hoped they would've had a little more sack than this. I'm sure they players may be a bit distracted, though. I can't believe that MLB couldn't find ANY other park to play these games in. Do you think Selig's ties to the Brewers had anything to do with it? I'm definitely not a conspiracy theorist, just sayin'.......
I am so phucking pissed with Drayton McLain. His greed for trying to play the 3 game series in Houston starting on Sunday Night was a complete joke. If he would have given up that ghost and acted immediately to try and replace the games earlier in the week, the Astros could have played somewhere much more pleasant than Milwaukee.
I thought it was foolish that both the MLB and NFL thought they would be able to play after the storm. No doubt this is the worst "home" field since the NFL had the Saints play that "home" game against the Giants in NY.
or you could not be glass half empty 100% of the time and thank him for not whole-sale selling at the deadline when everyone (including you and me) thought they should.
