He was up for a job a while back. Still looking for a job.

 

Coach O sure had a lot of positive press here in Los Angeles and the buz was that he had grown a lot since his days at Ole Miss, but my guess is that he reverted to his "hot head ways" when USC offered him a position other than head coach. Do you think O will find a head coaching job at a descent program?

 

Don't know, many coaches don't interview well as a Head Coach. He did a great job after Lame left. Wish him the best.

 

He sure is a character and I must admit that I'll miss him and his antics this coming season. I agree, he really did a great job after Lame left and while I'm not surprised that he didn't land a HC job, I was at least expecting him to be on TV although we probably would have needed sub-titles to understand him.

 

Although his reputation as a quality DL coach and a great recruiter have been around for a while, his reputation as a total sleezeball may finally have caught up with him.

Still can't believe that Saban hired Kiffin, even if it works out ok for one or two years. But then again I'm guessing Saban looked at Kiffin's pompous attitude and win at all cost legacy and saw a lot of himself.
