Then what explains LSU's fall off in the past three years? :rolleye33:

It's either the recruiting or the coaching, one or the other, or more likely both! Nevertheless, we are still overall winning despite the coaching.

Even if it meant sacrificing a future pro career?

Mostly Gary Crowton. But there are plenty of other variables. A team like UGA didn't have nearly the issues LSU has had to overcome, and they're 1-4. Why would ANYONE wanna play for UGA?? :rolleye33:

I wanna add that, at least one of the "other variables" has been Les Miles. Just making sure you see that. But mostly Gary Crowton.

If I wasn't from Louisiana, then there is no chance that I would come here.

You think JJ or JL will be drafted? Maybe if Crowton is fired. Beck at BYU and Dixon at Oregon both dramatically improved once Crowton was fired and got drafted, but as it stands now, neither one of them have a chance. How about TT the once 5 star top rated WR in the country. He'll be lucky if he is even drafted. D Byrd was projected as a 1st rounder going into his senior season, and ended up being a 7th rounder with a less than spectacular senior season due in large part due to Crowton coached QBs. Not to mention that Barksdale was a highly can't miss rated 5 star rated DL or OL coming out of high school, and after working for 4 years under Studrawa, he'll be lucky if he is even drafted. The last time I checked, he wasn't on anyone's list.

Anyway if I had potential pro talent like Mettenberger, there is no way I risk my future career by coming to LSU to be coached by Crowton.

By the way, who made the mistake of hiring Gary Crowton and didn't fire him when he had the chance last season? :rolleye33:

By the way, why would I want to play for UGA? There are like 120 schools to choose from. :rolleye33:

Alleva. And if you think kids won't wanna play for either UGA or LSU, you're more of a moron than I already credit you for.
