We did have a weak offense this year. The numbers don't lie.

I've seen a lot of pretty stellar D-linemen play in Lincoln over the years. Guys like Neil Smith, Grant Wistrom, Mike Rucker, and Kyle Vanden Bosch, but none of those guys could single-handedly dominate a game Like Ndamukong Suh. We were truely priviledged up here being able to watch him develop over the past 4 years into the player he is now. I believe deep down in my heart that he earned his trip to NY for the Heisman ceremony. He won't win it ( I think Bobby Ingram will) but I'm just very happy that he'll be there.

The Huskers' offense has been terrible all year, so it was no surprise to us that they were terrible vs Texas. We expected it. However, Texas' offense is very good, but they ran into a damn determined Blackshirt defense. I knew the defense would keep us in the game, but I didn't expect them to completely shut Texas down. We lose 5 Seniors off this defense next year (Suh being one of them) so I'm expecting a little drop-off. I'm really gonna miss Suh.

Don't be so sure. I think Suh has a pretty good shot.

Gerhart has the best shot to win because of regional voting. The west will vote for him, and the rest of the country will split between Ingram, Suh, and McCoy. However, that Big 12 CG did a lot for Suh and McCoy (in inverse directions, though).

Suh was impressive to watch. It was almost unfair to watch him vs the TX Oline. And they have a good Oline.

The few Texas games I've watched, they can't run the ball and have only one quality receiver. Colt is a damn good QB on college level. Don't believe he has the arm for NFL.
