Man, it looks like JF could be inheriting a bloody mess.

Why hasn't the line soared with this news? At least, it hadn't on the site I watch.

*EDIT* I just checked again and apparently there are no lines, currently. It's been pulled?

Whomever didn't get in on this one, I am truly sorry for your loss. I did give you a 3 day advance notice.

I wish I was a betting man, I would have pulled the trigger with a boat load of cash.

I did, however, send TeamKatt a PM changing my Bowl Pick Em to Kentucky. I hope that's allowed.

the moment you hear of anything of this nature, any and every book knew about it many hours beforehand and that game would be off the board.

only your really local drunk bookie would be an option but that is highly unlikely. especially if you're trying to bet a large amount.

Books in vegas dont take large bets like they have in the past either.

I looked up the Las Vegas odds the night I posted this thread and it still listed several bookies showing the game was still on the board.

I have no idea how betting works, so maybe when you called to place your bet they actually didn't have it on the board.

I didnt check but no, you would never be able to get it thru. They know this stuff, most likely many days, before you or I do. And once one gets wind of it they all know instantaneously and take them off.

Information is the lifeblood of their billion dollar industry.

I am on a betting board, just for sports info, as I am only in Vegas once a year and only go for table games and stay away from the sportsbooks like they are the plague because I figure they are way, way ahead of me.

Anyway, I sent a friend on that board your info the night you posted it. He got Kentucky (-1) for $1000. and then did some hundred dollar parlays with it and a couple of other games he was hitting hard.

I checked with him. He said by the time he left the casino the line had risen to (-4.5) and when he got home, the game was pulled from the boards (but the casino will honor his bets).

Terry - you're just hoping to get that FSU win over Bama thrown out so Bama can be bowl eligible. Oh wait, bama is bowl eligible.
