    FSU will be announcing this coming week as many as a dozen players (maybe more) who will not qualify academically and therefore will be ineligible to play in the bowl game.

    Good grief, what a mess.

    Here's yet another situation where the NCAA says one thing out of the corner of their mouth and does something completely different the next time something comes up.

    I recall their statement "academic issues are the responsibility of the University."

    What effect this is going to have on FSU is going to be interesting. They have players reportedly caught cheating on a online test with a tutor. Their president says the suspension rumors seem very likely. What's going to be interesting is if any of these players played this year in games...and, if they did, forfeiting those games seems likely as well.

    25 players suspended and reports are that could be even more serious than that

    these players are also suspended for the first 3 games of next season
