The meeting where that was decided upon would probably make an awesome SNL skit.

    That's it !

We should get a purple and gold tiger skin (like the Bengals helmets) for our basketball court.

You know I have always thought.
If Boise ever wants to be taken seriously.
They have to get rid of the tricked up goofy field.
They will always be seen as some sideshow circus act.

I know Boise is a good team, but I never watch them because that stupid field makes my eyes hurt. It looks horrible on TV and its just tricked up.
If I was the AD there I would say "Guys, maybe its time to let our team do the talking instead of some sideshow blue field"

Let alone all the ducks that commit suicide trying to land into the thing thinkings its a pond (I read that somewhere that has happened)

    But thats just me.

I completely agree with you on this. I think that is part of the reason no one wants to do a 1 and 1 with them. All the legit teams that aren't in the Pac 10 are in the South. You think a team from the South wants to travel all the way to Boise Idaho to play on some blue astro turf? Hell no. What does it accomplish? Boise is going to have to start bucking up and doing neutral site games against legit teams out of their conference, way more often than just 2 times a year.

Let em go undefeated and play in a non championship bowl. I can't watch them play at home on that turf. It's blurry on TV and hurts my eyes, too.

It might be pretty cool after eating some Tiger stadium grass. Sober, it gives me a headache.

I prefer the Oregon floor to the Smurf Turf (I agree; can't watch a game on that stuff). But what is that symbol underneath the "O" at midcourt supposed to be?
