    Got out if Portland before he got slimed by the lefties, hippie drop outs and Anifa. He's not a lefty cause we never hear from him probably because he wanted to be able to work. The "tolerant" left would has "McCarthied" him if he had showed his love of this country.

    Today's Portland does not deserve nor has no claim on this good man.

    I'm not calling him out about missing his favorite former coach, that breaks his po-but-proud 'lil heart every year. I'm saying he wrote an article about Alabama & tried to pass it off as being about Auburn, which it clearly is not.

    Oregonians love to think of Sam Elliott as a native son. The veteran actor, was -- we have to admit -- born in Sacramento. But Elliott moved with his family to Portland when he was 13, and Elliott graduated from David Douglas High School in 1962, and got a degree from Clark College in Vancouver.

    Elliott told us he still feels connected to Oregon.
    "My mom's house is still (in Portland), and we still own it," Elliott said, of his late mother. "I still spend a lot of time there. I've got a place in the Willamette Valley, down near Eugene. I'm ultimately hoping to move back to Oregon."
