    Auburn '04

Auburn's last 4th down conversion. Stop that and we win. We also win the SEC West with that extra win, even with the blowout at UGA.

Matt Mauck's foot injury at Gainesville in '02. We were 5-1 after beating the Gators. Went 3-4 the rest of the way with Marcus Randall under center, including the loss to Texas in the Cotton Bowl.

wow this is a great answer

if this doesn't happen, LSU is top tier from 01-07 for 7 straight years.

the Iowa game still sticks with me most, its another top 8 finish for the Tigers, and we would be on a 5 year streak of finishing in the top 8 had that disaster not happened

Actually, Tigerhoss has it right, we would have won the National Title since it was awarded before the bowls in those days. We were already #1 in both polls and would have stayed there. Not sure the Sugar Bowl would have invited Syracuse to play us since they had black players--it was a big deal when they played in the Cotton.

I would have to say Tommy Hodson's 4th qtr interception against tOSU. If that pass falls incomplete, David Browndyke has a ~30-yarder to win the game--automatic. Tommy is still my favorite Tiger, but that one was brutal.

In all sports, I would like to see Fess Irvin hit both free throws instead of missing the front end of the one & one that he had with about 15 seconds left vs Indiana--could have buried Bobby Knight in what was essentially an Indiana home game and gone to the Final Four in the Superdome. That still is the only game I have walked out of mad.

I forget who we were playing but I think it was in 2002 when Ben Wilkerson was still in the game for some reason when the game was in the bag and he hurt his ACL and ruined his entire career.

That was vs Vandy in '04. I think it was actually on the very last play of the game.

That would be my choice. But let's wait and see how the NC game turn out next month.
