I'm confused with him. He seems to be out of the loop but his overthrows show he's likely nervous and just doesn't show it. I think if he got involved it would help him all around. Sitting aloof and alone on the bench doesn't seem to be wise on any level if you ask me.

Should be talking to his oline or a wr, kragthorpe, anyone. Engage his brain and get in the game. Being idle simply magnifies his demeanor which is completely terrible.

He was supposed to be the leader of this offense. At least show some fight even if you suck. The fans can rally around suck as long as you show heart. We can't rally around a fn corpse. Unless it was nick sabans.

again you are right. He doesnt seem to care if the receivers drop 10 passes or if he overthrows 10 guys. Does he think he is above it all? Or he really just doesnt care about leading the team.

I would still say noting to the media and act like 8 is the starter, and start Rob Boldin just to throw Saban off, then bring in 8.

It didn't rate benching him for the season, with Jefferson playing so poorly.

It really seems there was a concerted effort to throw the ball higher rather than under throw it.

Mett had thrown the ball low and/or under-throw the ball all year and then all of a sudden he's over throwing. It seems as if the coaches really wanted him to make throws where the receiver had to maintain or increase his speed to make the catch rather than have to slow down or have the ball thrown short and intercepted. The diving catch into the endzone is an example.

I don't read it as Mett doesn't care. I think he cares too much and is letting it get to his head. He needs to learn to let things go and not pout. He needs to stay positive and keep fighting rather than sulking. We know the best QB's have no memory and put the last bad play behind them to keep moving forward. Metts biggest problem is emotional and psychological and the sooner he learns to forget the last bad play the better. Of course that won't help his pocket awareness or locking onto his primary receiver.

You know how teenagers are. They pretend to be emotionless drones like Martin to seem cool or whatever. Mett is what, 20 but that's what it reminds me of. He's probably overwhelmed and close to pissing his pants more than not caring. That's why he should get involved.

Likely just nerves. If the game ever slows down enough things can come together very quickly for a qb. We have to hope its an all or nothing thing with mett bc so far it's been almost nothing. I'm guessing it all comes together at some point it's just a matter of when.

Yes! You play Rivers, and actually start getting another QB ready for a change. What a novel idea!

You ask yourself why has my offense been ranked near the bottom of the NCAA for the last five years.

You wonder how many more NC you could have won, had you not been so hard headed.

You get on your knees and thank God that Dinardo and Saban gave you this opportunity.

You actually realize why you are not attracting the top WR's ---- you have no passing game.

You realize that a good coordinator, does a much better job with the X/O's than you do.

You actually learn to look at a clock and see what time it is.

I know I am dreaming, but that would be a coach worth his four million.
