Friends said they saw Ranaudo walk to the bus with that left hand pretty heavily bandaged after getting spiked in the dogpile by Leon Landry.

Thank goodness it's his left hand, so it shouldn't matter a whole lot in the grand scheme of things, but geez, that could have been so bad.

Who was the guy in the early 2000s who had to miss a start in the Regionals or maybe the Supers or CWS, because they got injured in the dogpile.

Was it Nate Bumstead?

 

i dont know, but i mentioned in another thread, i was screaming at the tv to not dogpile.

and the funny thing is, last night at the end of the c-usa championship game, when southern miss dogpiled, i was "tsk tsk'ing" and saying "idiots need to act like they've been there" and "thats how guys get stupidly hurt". then we f'in do it today. greenie just gave me this look. probably the only thing that kept him from saying anything was a comeback of "how did tulane do in their conference tourney?" lol

Maineiri even said he didn't want them to, but when they did, he was more than okay with it.
