Since we talking about could, would, should. LSU should have only given up 6 points to UNC. If you take away that running into the kicker penalty unc doesnt get on the board on that drive. Well you can also take away that long TD from inside the 5 thats another. That was due to blown coverage. Finally, if chavis doesnt blitz peterson and sticks him on the WR that caught that fade they make a field goal right there. I am still confused as to why he is lined up against the left OT and not in coverage.
I am taking my Pastor to the game since he is from WV. I will pray up and use my comforting skills on him at the end of the game. WV fans have no idea what is in store for them but I guess I would be talking it up if I was headed for a show down with the Tigers on Sat Night also. I don't see them getting a TD! Our Tigers have not played a A game yet and this could be the first one. LSU 31 WVU - 6 sounds good to me
Here's the biggest thing that the WVU fans need to know, Sat nite in Death Valley, the Tigers DO NOT LOSE.
i've got to agree with red on this one. our d has the speed and from the improvement i see each game with them, i believe we can hold wvu fairly well, despite any speed on o they think they might have. however, even tho i am seeing improvement on o bit by bit, we have to start scoring touchdowns. jj still looks somewhat tentative and uncertain of himself, imo. i will say that instead of throwing the ball away tho, he is trying to at least get some yards, and is doing better in that respect. but we need to be getting 7 instead of 3 all the time. here is hoping that we see more improvement on the o again this coming week. and another win.:thumb:
That could be true. I watched most of the Marshall game and the offense just didnt look that good. Im not really impressed with your QB.
You serious? 'Ol Gino couldn't even pick Marshall apart until their lack of depth begin to show late in the 4th quarter. Our DT had an interception on Saturday... yeah our DT... You know as well as LSU fans know that our offense's from our great teams earlier in the decade aren't here anymore. All WVU has now is a young, talented QB, and Noel Devine. WVU does not have enough on offense to put more than 2 scores on our defense. And you're right, Jefferson will not throw more than around 120 yards on ya'll... but we will rush for over 250. The Big East is a joke. We will prove that fact on Saturday yet again.
With the exception of a couple of trolls...I'm really enjoying the pre game smack going on here. It's pretty good natured and indicates that we are the biggest regular season game for UWV. I bet they don't invade every opponent's board during the regular season. (There sure seems to be a lot of SEC envy going on over there.) :grin:
