If we go 12-1 or 11-2, do you think Miles still cans Crowton?

this post is correct. A +

you may be able to tie crowton to poor QB play, and i want the guy gone but to give him credit, he called a good game in both UF and Bama. (no idea if he had any help i.e. gonzales).

development of players and the offense in general is lacking though. i'm also not the biggest fan of coach stud either.

I understand and I'll shed no tears if Crowton goes. But, I think it's entirely possible that our skilled people on offense are underachievers in spite of the coaching and maybe Crowton should get some credit for getting enough out of them to win 9 games. It's called "another viewpoint". Can you understand that?

I can understand this viewpoint and I stated in my earlier post that if Crowton is limited by the lack of execution by his players, then that would be a valid reason to give him a pass. Stating our team record/ ranking is not a reason in itself.

It's called success. Normally one doesn't mess with it.

U.S. GDP grew 1.7% in the second quarter of 2010. With that kind of success I think I'll vote for Obama's reelection so we won't mess up a good thing.

Yeah, we wouldn't want to get rid of Crowton and risk having an offense in the bottom 25%.

By your logic, we are taking a risk of our defense and special teams getting worse by getting rid of Crowton.

How exactly would getting rid of Crowton be "messing with success"? Our offense is bad.

Crowton called a good game tonight.

I'm not so sure he should be fired after this year.

That's funny. Right now, I want to see him as USL's head coach.

It's easy to say "Fire Crowton", but . . . hasn't JJ improved this season? Yes, he has. JJ has improved during the season under Crowton's tutelage.

It's difficult now to wholeheartedly agree with those who say, "Fire Crowton."

I trust Coach Miles to make the right decision. Coach Miles knows that he needs the best OC possible. Coach Miles knows that his own job depends on it.

I know that Coach Miles will make his own decision and not depend on others to make up his mind for him.

There were times when I doubted both Miles and Crowton. I now realize that I don't know enough to really make an informed opinion on these matters.
