Yeah, but I think that was more of the voters giving OK a pass more than anything else. We will not be so lucky if we lose.

Plus isnt there a rule now you have to win your conference to play in the National Title game ?
Due to both Nebraska and OU got in and didnt even win their conference ?

Plus the voters are itching to get LSU out of #2, I would assume its hello Cap One bowl. Since the East winner would get Sugar. Assuming LSU lost.

Frankly after seeing Ole Miss outgain LSU and its defense get shredded by the running game. I am more concerned about Arkansas right now.

The passing game hurt us more than the running game.

"More" is correct but both a little "Up there"- 265 passing and 201 rushing. Their QB did have 98 of them.

They actually netted 466 total yds. to our 396.

That was because OU was left with one loss. LSU will be left with two losses. No two loss team will ever play in the BCS CG.

OU was undefeated going into their Big 12 Championship game if I remember correctly!
    We have 1 loss already!

What I would love to see happen is OU winning the Big 12 Championship game and the loser of that game playing for the NC.
I understand that won't happen but I'd love to see the shoe on the other foot in OU's case.

There is no BCS rule that forces the #1 and #2 teams to win their conferences.

Here are the BCS eligibility rules:
    http://www.bcsfootball.org/bcsfb/eligibility

The BCS formula has been changed to give more weight to the human voters, making a late loss a lot more likely to do knock a #1 team down, plus as others have said, LSU already has a loss.
