well no, actually I am right. Only 2 teams from the same conference can play in BCS games. BCS games includes the BCS CG obviously.
2006 Florida was in the BCS CG. LSU was either going to the Rose Bowl or the Sugar. We couldn't go to the Rose because the Rose could not get the Sugar's consent to pick LSU from what I remember. No other SEC team appeared in bowl games that year. Arkansas and Georgia were shut out.
No more than two teams from a conference may be selected, regardless of whether they are automatic qualifiers or at-large selections, unless two non-champions from the same conference are ranked No. 1 and No. 2 in the final BCS Standings.
Top ten will look like what? 1. UF 2. Texas 3. Bama 4. Cincy 5. Boise 6. TCU 7. ? 8. ? 9. ? 10. ? 11. ? i think it helped Oregon got beat by a non ranked, Iowa lost to Northwestern, Penn St. lost, i can't see us dropping far. Maybe USC will get one by default. Unless they lose another game.
Yes, this is possible but only 1 would be guaranteed. The other would have to be selected as an at-large. I would hope one of the bowls would select an undefeated TCU or Boise State over a 2 loss BCS conference team. But mark this down. USC WILL BE CHOSEN.
CFB - - FOX Sports on MSN dayum, its confusing the hell out of me..drank too much. i just remember a few years back talk of three SEC teams making BCS bowls...reason because the NCG didnt count towards conference eligibility
I'll take- Oklahoma in the Cotton Bowl or Penn State in the Capital One Bowl. Either would be fine with me. :crystal::geaux::crystal::geaux::crystal:
