If we beat the Gators

    Remembering back:

    1) The defense realized that the intensity has to be there for every game, and for the rest of the season is was.

    2) We were forced to play some RB's were not ready for that game, but were invaluable for subsequent games.

No moral. This game will not be like that one.

Nobody has been able to hang with this bunch yet. JL is playing smart and his RB's know what to do. #33 and RR are making plays and then there is the monster in the room. TM7 has no equal in college football.

What are the Gators going to do to score? Run the ball? They are going to a short passing game that will requir what we have showed with the duck and WV.

LSU wins this game but I hope we show a strong running game to go with the win!

I agree that it won't. Completely different teams, coach, mindset. We have the Honey Badger, an even more bad ass defense than '03 and the players and CLM are capable of handling the No. 1 ranking to where it's not a distraction.

One thing I have learned......never get complacent in the SEC. If we beat Florida, and we should especially given their lack of a QB, we can't assume wins in the following weeks. There are no gimme wins in the SEC, no matter who you are.

If I were a gator fan, I'd probably have my Tebow jersey dry cleaned so I could put it away till next year !!!

So true. Especially now, everyone wants to beat us, to knock off #1. It won't be easy; this group can do it, though!

I think everything points to the Bama game. Even if we lose a game other than Bama, beating them gets us to the NC game (if we win out otherwise).

If we're undefeated, then most likely Bama doesn't lose more than 1 game other than to the Tigers. So using reverse logic, an undefeated LSU team losing to a 1 loss Bama team puts us out of it as well.

I just don't see much other than the winner of the LSU/Bama game wins the national championship.

What I'm going to be interested in seeing is how our run game performs against FL d line. We've seen what Bama can do against them, I'm curious how our run game stacks up.

I'm confident that our defense will shut down their offense ..but what remains to be seen is how our offense stacks up against their defense. It'll be a good test .... and an indication of what's to come.

I'm more interested in the aggressiveness of the play calling. Against MSU, we made our offense stagnant until the 4th quarter due to overly conservative play calling.

They are going to stack the box the entire night.

Make them pay. We have 2 receivers who are legit (Randle and Beckham) along with a very good TE.

I think the reason we are seeing so much vanilla offense is because the coaches are holding their cards close to the vest. They are putting in enough to win but not allowing others to game plan off us. I think we see lights out when we play Bama.
