and with no QB I feel good about our chances ! Then if we go on the road and beat Tenn I feel very good about this team. The Tenn game will be our first push game. 4th quarter Les will have to do his thing in this game and if we get the Vols I think we will be ready for the run.
Just so you know I am starting something other than JJ threads to try to fight all the stupid talk off ! Come on guys move on
This thread got me thinking about the 2003 parallels at this point: 5-0 facing Florida. Day game at Tiger Stadium. Florida started a true freshman (Chris Leak, who was obviously much better than the Driskol kid) We play like dog arse and lose 19-7 but go on to run the table. Now, do I think history repeats itself? Most likely not, but I bring this up as a reminder to not get overconfident. A lot of people are talking about three games down the road. Let's keep our eyes on the prize and beat these Gayturds first!
I agree 100% about one game at a time and as you see in all I have posted today it is not right into Bama but what we have to do to get to Bama. From what the Gators showed they are weak with a very young 2nd string QB but football is football and it is not like Troy can't come into Tigerland and beat our Tigers !! This team is so young and so deep I don't see them thinking they are all that plus it is hard to think about a Les team not showing up - oh well- Tenn last year !!!! I like this team and the way they take care of business. Stud at OC and the Chief as DC with Les - I like it alot.
With you. Only JJ threads I want to read/comment on will be concerning his performance, as with any of our players. (And that's bad enough--our "what have you done for me lately?" scathing review of every turn, twist and hair follicle on our team's heads)!
